Snow Day!

How ironic that the last post I did was called "Sunny Day"...yes, we had several sunny, low 70 degree days and then a few days in the low 30s...oh I just want to thank the weather for the sickness it has brought on my family. How kind of you...:( Anyway, here as some pictures of the girls playing in the snow, which only stuck around for 1 day due to the weather not being able to make up it's mind on whether it wants to be warm or freezing.

Running out to the field next to our house....Snow, glorious snow.

Kendall spent her morning looking like this...poor thing couldn't walk or run without falling...yes, I might have over bundled her, but I didn't have any snow outfits!

my two snow bunnies

making snow angels

oops...man down...

oh no! two men down...help;)

yikes, we are struggling to stay up-right!

umm, mommy...hep pweeeeeeese....(help please)

helping shovel/sweep the side walk

yes, please give us some direction Kendall...oh girl of great knowledge;)

Okay, we had our snow...now it can get warm and we can put all this craziness behind us. "pweeeeeese"

A sunny day

Last week we had an unseasonably warm day for the month of January. So, what does a mother of 3 energetic and slightly wild children do? Go outside of course!! We were lucky enough that Daddy had the afternoon off (a rare event during season) and was able to play outside as well. Those girls do love playing with daddy! He's so fun;)

While we were outside enjoying the evening before the cool of the night set in, daddy got some great pictures of the girls.

Kendall and her stick...we could be walking to the car (which is a few feet from the house) and she has to pick up a stick, or let us know we have lots of sticks in our yard...thanks Kendall;)

Alley playing happily with daddy and Kendall...what a precious smile:)

Another thing Kendall has to have when we are outside...a ball

sitting on daddy

Kendall wanted a turn at jumping on daddy too:)

playing ring-around-the-rosy...at a pretty fast pace. I'm surprised no one ended up being flung across the yard!

taking a walk to the field...just too sweet

checking back to make sure daddy was still there...yup, he is:)

pretending to nap...ha, these two nap...I should be so lucky!

I thought this was kinda an interesting picture with the lighting...funny too

sunbathing;)

she was running, but this is also a classic picture of Kendall...tongue is out;)

I couldn't pass up this moment. This morning while the girls were watching cartoons, Kendall went up and sat next to Alley and started rubbing her back. It was the cutest moment ever!

then she started playing with her hair...I'm surprised Alley let her...it was a special moment for mommy;)
