The Lake

We have found our summer hang out!! The LAKE!!! I wish we could go everyday! We probably could swing a couple days a week, but these girls just love being in the water. We have gone out at least once a week and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The girls have loved getting the freedom to swim around and play in the sand, all in one place. I am DEFINITELY going to be coming here more often as the summer rolls on!

Falls Park

Andy had the day off (what?? Time off?? what is that!), so we decided to take a little day trip up to Greenville to do some shopping (Trader Joe's and Wholefoods, anyone?!!) and have a picnic at Falls Park. We had only caught a tiny glimpse of Falls Park from the highway, but people kept telling us it was a cool place, so naturally, we had to check it out:)

Man, they weren't kidding when they said it was a cool place! It was BEAUTIFUL! We had so much fun walking around and watching the ducks as well as the waterfall. What a fun time we had:)

After our picnic, we went up on the bridge that went over the Falls...it was beautiful. You could feel the bridge move under you since it was a suspension bridge...Alley was slightly nervous about going to the railing, but we convinced her she couldn't slip through the wires;)

We had a great day getting to hang out with Andy before he jetted off to Las Vegas...rough life;)
