Arkansas Wedding

One of the whole purposes for this visit to Arkansas was to attend Andy's cousins wedding. Here are some highlights from the wedding last night. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved being able to spend time with all of Andy's family and extended family.
The happy Bride and Groom - Shae and Michael Oost
Here's the happy bride, Shae, and some crazy pregnant woman...;) Us at the wedding...just wasting time until all the festivities began The bride and her father, Uncle Frank, taking over the dance floor showing us all how it's done My little niece, Avery, stopping for a photo with me while she collects all of the flowers (and I mean all of the flowers) to give away to people...how sweet! And this is how I spent most of my evening...hehehe...
We want to congratulate Shae and Michael on their wedding and wish them many happy years! We enjoyed it!

Our New House

Hello all...I've been a little negligent in my posting. Sorry! Recently our lives have been a complete world-wind of activities. After we returned from the beach, we started painting the inside of our new house. Our assumption was that it wouldn't take longer than a week to paint all the rooms and every piece of trim, molding, built-ins, windows, fireplaces and staircases...man were we wrong!! To update everyone, when we bought our house, all the crown molding, chair rails, windows, doors, baseboards, staircase spools, fireplaces, china cabinet built-ins and trim were painted a Williamsburg blue (which is a very brilliant yet deep blue color) - all of it! We thought, one coat of primer and a coat of paint would do...WRONG! Two coats of primer and at least two coats of white paint later and we still have two rooms left to paint...ugh! We finished all the main level rooms, the master bedroom and the bathroom before we left for Arkansas, so when we return, we have to pick up the dreaded paint brush and finish off the guest bedroom and the nursery. We will prevail!;) Anyone want to help!?

Here is a sneak peek photo of the inside of our new house. We have moved in half our stuff in and we spent our first night in the house before we flew out to visit Andy's family in Arkansas, yeah! This is our new dining room (remember, everything that is white was blue and what is red was sponge painted yellow - I left the before pictures of the rooms on Andy's computer at work -Sorry!!)
I promise that when return, I will take a picture of the front of our house for everyone to see!

Okay, this last picture is for those of you who keep saying they wish they could see how big I'm getting...watch out y'all, I'm only 22 weeks and already popping out;) Here you go...
Enjoy and keep coming back for updates...I promise I'll be lots better once we get Internet at our new house!

The Beach

We are finally back from our relaxing and wonderful week at Kiawah Island. We've actually been back for a couple days but we've been up to our elbows in paint and primer! I've taken a break from all the painting to show y'all some wonderful pictures from the beach.
We have a tradition at the beach that one night during the week we take a trip off the Island and go somewhere nice for dinner. Our traditional restaurant, John's Island cafe, has been shut down. So this year we drove to Savannah to go to Paula Deen's restaurant. It was wonderful andwe had so much fun! Here are some pictures that give you the highlights:)We missed having Will, Jess and Carlee Scott there this year, but we are preparing ourselves for the craziness of next years beach trip(three little babies - save us now!)! Here's a picture of us having fun on the beach - y'all, the tent is totally the way to go!!

The classic "good-bye" photo at Kiawah - until next year!
