Escape of the bunny...

Yesterday Granny invited us over to have lunch at her house. My Aunt and Uncle from Atlanta were up, as well as my parents. We can never say no to good company and excellent food:)! When we got there, Granny presented Alley with a set of bunny ears - it was hilarious to watch her reaction when we put them on her and on us. She would just die laughing...I wish I had gotten a video of it! Here are some pictures of our little bunny...

Weekend in Texas

This past weekend I was able to travel (solo) to Texas to visit my wonderful sister-in-law, niece and nephew. I had a great time and really enjoyed getting to just spend some down time with them! Here are a few pictures from our time together:

Last weekend

Last weekend we traveled to Richmond for the day. We had Farmville-itis and really needed to get away (plus it was raining!!). We all had a great time with Mimi and Papa, especially Alley. Here are some pictures:

We finally have our camera back! Yippy;) Here's just a little snap-shot of what we've been up to recently.

We have a new love - taking everything out of containers and then getting in them...

Ok, so I don't normally post two days in a row...but Alley is really beginning to get funny! Suddenly she has started copying everything we do...she crossed her arms when I crossed mine at dinner, she tries to imitate what you say and she has begun to do the funniest sounds. Here is a video of her right when we were about to go to the doctors (she doesn't look sick does she?!). Again, sorry for the quality of the video (old camera) and PLEASE turn up your volume so you can hear her noises!

Glorious snow...and no work!

Today we all got to enjoy our first snow day...and boy did it snow!! Today was our first day with nothing to do - basketball is over for Andy (it ended this weekend in Roanoke), I had a snow day and Alley had a day off from daycare. So, we spent the day in the snow and playing in the house. Here are some pictures from the day. (I still haven't gotten my camera fixed, but I did manage to find my very old camera - which doesn't take good pictures - reason why we bought the new one! - but they will have to do)

Happenings

We all traveled to Richmond on Saturday for a weekend at Mimi and Papa's. They so graciously watched Alley so Andy and I could go out on a date. We had a wonderful day of playing and exploring. John and his girlfriend, Marion, came in town for a visit - it was fun getting to spend some time with them! Alley was in rare form around them, which was fun to watch! Speaking of Alley, she is changing so much and so fast these days!! I am amazed every day by the things she does and the things she tries to say. She is really comprehending way more then I thought she would at this age!
Fun little story about Alley - yesterday all three of us were in our room putting our stuff away from the weekend and we threw our laundry on the floor. Alley went over, picked it up and took the laundry basket top off, and put our clothes in it...as well as Andy's shoes!!!! I was completely shocked...we haven't made her do that...ever...again, she amazes me everyday!

She was obsessed with the free weights...she's going to be one buff girl! (sorry the picture is so bad - I just couldn't pass up posting this one!)

Back to beating the medicine ball - she thought it was hilarious that when she would hit the ball, it would bounce a little - ah, to find joy in the little things like her...
