MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!
We had a wonderful Christmas this year:) We were blessed with the fact that the basketball team had FOUR full days off over Christmas. So because of that, we were able to make a trip back to Richmond to spend Christmas with my family. Yippy! It was a quick and busy trip, but well worth it! Andy had a game the afternoon of the 23rd, so we all piled into the car after our win and drove straight to Richmond. We arrived just before midnight and quickly got into the Christmas spirit and prepared ourselves for the next day.
playing a little game of pretend with Mimi and PApa's reindeer (and "bambi"...must be a kid thing because I use to call the little reindeer bambi!)
my wild child pausing in the midst of her destruction for a little photo op;)
the "older" McPherson girls wearing silly Christmas hats.
my sweet sweet Alley
MC doesn't quite understand that the reindeer aren't tasty treats...;)
The circus came to Richmond and here they are;)
Christmas Eve family photo op...not too bad...
A little late night craziness from Uncle John. This is how we occupy our time on Christmas Eve between the church services...poor poor kitty;)
aaaaaand, she gets wrapped up and delivered...I think she went into hiding after this...or was it when MC and Kendall wouldn't stop chasing after her??
It was a big Christmas for the McPherson girls. the older two got bikes! We figured they had to learn how to ride eventually, so why not together:)
Christmas morning surprise. they were so incredibly excited!
they kept asking all mornign if they could go ride their bikes...in fact, they haven't stopped asking that question to this day!
MC got a pillow pet...she doesn't understand yet that she's suppose to sleep on it. She thinks she has to tackle it and sit on it like it's a horse...its a pig pillow pet MC...a pig...
so when in doubt, bring out an oldie but goodie;) This she can ride!
our two big helpers making sure daddy knows how to correctly open up his gifts;)
check this girl out!!! She watched Papa clean up after each person would unwrap a gift and decided that she could do it as well! It was awesome! She found every single scrap of paper and ran (yes ran, because this girl DOES NOT walk ANYWHERE!) over to the huge garbage bag to throw it away. She loved it. Give this girl some cleaning supplies!!;)
later after church, MC needed a little snuggle time with her great-grandmother...who of course, loved every minute of it.
taking time to chat on the phone
Christmas lunch with great family and friends. this was the kids table...yeah buddy, we are definitely still kids;)
Some after nap bike time. Alley did great!! She loved loved riding her bike and did awesome.
Kendall's bike needed (or so she thought) a little trip to the McPherson bike shop...she thought something was wrong with the bike because she couldn't ride it as well as Alley...;)
Andy's such a great sport to play along with her:) Yes, I love this man!
MC taking Aunt Pat for a walk
sweet and sassy girl all ready to ride like a champ
daddy helping out
MC didn't want to be left out and she just motored along with them. Sound effects and all:)
The girls also got legos for Christmas...Princess legos...can we say super super excited girls!! They have not stopped playing with them!
They all were teasing me that I have really become the Southern girl since moving to Clemson...I was wearing my pearls and had my work out clothes on...oops, I forgot to take them off....again...;)
lounging and reading the day after Christmas...we totally were not going to fight the traffic and get out!
going riding:) You have to watch out with this child....she rocks it so hard that I'm afraid it will tip....she seems to be following in the foot steps of a certain sweet and sassy McPherson girl...noooo, God wouldn't have blessed me with TWO sweet and sassy little ones?!?!? Just start praying for us now;)
all three in their Christmas monster jammies...do they look ready for bed, or ready for some trouble;)
that is a cute but NOT innocent face;)
On Thursday, we celebrated granny's 90th birthday! We were so happy to still be around Virginia to join in on the festivities.
Here the girls are waiting oh so patiently to dig into their lunch boxes...
sweet granny...Happy Birthday!
