Summer Church Activities

This summer our church is putting on several children's events. We decided that with the heat we are having here in the good ol' south, we would definitely participate! The first event was roller skating…eeekkk! The girls LOVED it. MC tried to high step the whole time, Kendall tried to run and go as fast as possible and poor Alley (with her incredibly long skinny legs) looked like a newborn baby giraffe!;) Oh how I wish you could have seen them skate!!!

MC thought it might be better if she tried skating on the carpet...

Alley skating all by herself!

Another event the children's ministry put on was the "Critter Keeper". This guy brought in a bunch of animals and bugs…yuck, but the kids LOVED it…go figure.

these two…my heart!

I helped put on our churches VBS this year and it was so much fun (and a lot of work!!). I adore the theme (Journey off the map) and the girls learned so much about our calling to spread the gospel throughout the world. Alley has decided she wants to be a vet still but that she wants to take mission trips to Africa and India and be a missionary and treat everyones animals for free…she has such a sweet, tender heart!

Kendall got to go up and do the song hand motions one day…she loved it!

 Who are these crazy girls?!?!?!
What a fun summer we are having so far! We love our church and are so thankful for how they are investing in our kids hearts and lives:)
