4th of July

This year for the 4th of July, we all gathered in Richmond at my parents. It was so fun to have everyone together! Mom and dad's neighborhood had a parade where the kids could decorate their bikes and then we'd all march down the street. Mom and Dad were able to find some bikes they could keep at their house for when the grandkids visited, so all we had to do was decorate. The kids had a blast wrapping the bikes with streamers, bows and "sparkling stars".

of course it's not a real the 4th of July celebration until you have watermelon!
